******* SIOSEIS ver 2005.7 (25 Sep. 2005) is a MAJOR update *******
Temporary disk file names now include the pid (process id),
which is unique to every job running on a computer at the same time.
This allows multiple SIOSEIS jobs to be run simultaneously in the
same working directory. The negative consequence of this is
that SIOSEIS does not delete this these files when SIOSEIS terminates
unexpectedly (e.g. control-c). The new temporary files are named:
sioseis_PIDtmpLUN, where PID is the Unix pid and LUN is the SIOSEIS
logical unit. These file will only be deleted when SIOSEIS terminates
normally and "END OF SIOSEIS RUN" is written to stdout.
Process STACK was changed (parameter NEW preset to 1) so that
amplitudes with a value of zero are ignored from the summation and
the averaging process.
